Our plants are primarily grown in organic soilless mediums using Perlite, Tree Fern Fiber, Charcoal, Pine Bark, and Coco Husk Mixture.
Our indoor nursery is between 75-85 percent humidity and between 75 – 85 degrees Fahrenheit year round. Plants are kept under full spectrum growlights on a 16 hour cycle.

For plants listed as Growers Choice, you will be buying a plant that is similar to the photo used on the listing. The plant will be similar in terms of size and color.
We take two measurements, the diameter of the pot and the length of the largest leaf from bottom to top.

Shipping
Plants will be shipped in our current growing medium stated in our FAQs above unless otherwise stated.
Our plants are shipped from our licensed nursery located in Southern California.
We do not ship internationally. Shipping restrictions in the U.S. apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
All live plants will be packed safely using materials such as polyfill, brown paper, cardboard, and tape. Heat packs will be an additional charge of $3 each. If a heat pack is needed, please add it to your cart from the products page.
*We will check the destination weather before shipping. We recommend a heat pack for temperatures below 55°F. Additionally, at no extra charge, insulation will be added for orders with destinations below 55°F and above 85°F.
You should receive an email with your tracking number included. Please make sure to track your package so that you are aware if there are any issues or delays.
Yes, we can combine shipping as long as the name and shipping address on the orders match. The original shipping price is subject to change depending on the size of the additional plants added to the order.
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays so packages will not get delayed or held up in transit over the weekend. Processing varies between 1 and 3 business days depending on size of order.
Live arrival is guaranteed for overnight shipping.
Yes, please select local pickup at checkout and you will receive an email to schedule a pickup time.
Policies
We do not accept returns or refunds. If you have an issue with the plant upon arrival we recommend you take a video and/or photos unboxing the package and contact us within 6 hours of receiving the plant either through email at: peri@periwinkleplants.com or Instagram DM. The video needs to start before box is opened. If the issue is presented within 6 hours of receiving the plant, a refund will be issued and the plant must be shipped back to us the same way it was received at your cost. After this period, all sales are final.
Please understand that when live plants are shipped, there can be some cosmetic damages due to stress such as root loss, leaf loss, browning, and yellowing of leaves. We are not responsible for:
- Incorrect addresses
- Weather damages
- Postal delays
- Lost packages
- Mishandling
If the plant arrives with some cosmetic damages or some damage, please reach out as we are happy to give advice to make sure the plant is able to make a full recovery.
